TANZANIA’s annual inflation rate rose slightly to 7.3 per cent in November, from 7.1 per cent in October, mainly due to increased prices for food and beverages, the National Bureau of Statistics has announced. ’’The slight increase in inflation was highly driven by higher prices of soft drinks, mineral water and Konyagi (an alcoholic spirit),’’ the NBS said in a statement on its website.
