Obama wins battleground Ohio, CNN projects
(CNN) -- CNN projects that Sen. Barack Obama will win Ohio, a key battleground state with 20 electoral votes. No Republican has won the White House without winning Ohio. Going into the election, polls showed Obama with a 3-point lead there. Polls are also closed in the key battleground states of Florida, North Carolina and Virginia, but the races there are too close to call. Sen. John McCain will win West Virginia and Georgia, CNN projects, adding 20 electoral votes to the Arizona senator's total.
